Rain is a salon that fosters amazing stylists. We take the cream of the crop, the die-hards who love everything about the industry, growing them from the ground up. They begin in our apprenticeship program taking in house classes one full day a week. The rest of their week is spent providing model services supervised by our senior staff, as well as supporting our bustling salon environment when they are on their assisting shifts.

Classes at Rain cover everything under the sun. From a beginners blow-dry class, to advanced colour correction, we offer structure and curriculum to pro-active stylists who value a strong foundation in this craft.
These classes continue every Monday once you graduate and move onto the floor here as a stylist. Classes are taught by our senior stylists, L’Oréal Professional Instructors, as well as a variety of Bumble and Bumble Network Educators. Intimate classes of 4-6 students ensures ample attention from the instructor, giving the best opportunity for apprentices to learn.

In addition to our in-house education, we are also a Bumble and Bumble Network salon. This allows the salon to send individual stylists to New York for advanced training all year round. At Bumble they offer a wide range of classes, including backstage styling for fashion shows, front desk superstar and management training, as well as specialized Network Educator programs. We currently have 2 network educators in the salon who act as liaisons between Rain and Bumble, ensuring that we are offering the most current, relevant, exciting classes. Being in the Network allows us to be on the front lines of fashion, offering our clients looks straight from the runway.
